| Police certificates for Child and Partner visas Effective 16 September 2009, sponsors of child visa applications and partner or prospective marriage applications which include a minor applicant will be required to provide a National Police Check as part of the process of assessing the application. This applies to existing applications that have not been decided as well as to any new applications.
