Employer Sponsored Migration
The Employer Sponsored visa program consists of temporary and permanent visas:
Subclass 457 Temporary Work Visa
Subclass 186 Employer Nomination (permanent)
Subclass 187 Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (permanent)
We can assist employers and employees throughout the entire process of employer sponsored migration. The requirements are complex and may vary based on a range of factors such as the visa category, type of occupation and location of work.
The Australian employer must meet various criteria regarding business history, market salary, labour market testing and training.
The visa applicant must meet various criteria regarding skills and English language ability. In some cases, a formal skill assessment may be required.
There is no age limit for the temporary 457 visa. As a general rule, applicants for permanent employer sponsored visas must be under 45 years of age. Age exemptions apply in limited circumstances.
